Harvard Crimson Alumni in Professional Sports (CAPS) was founded by Daron Roberts (HKSG ‘04/ HLS ’07) in 2010. The mission of CAPS is to unite the Harvard alumni who are working in the sports arena under one umbrella organization for the purposes of networking and mentoring.

CAPS manages an exclusive database of Harvard professionals working in sports. Moreover, CAPS seeks to support the Harvard community by: (1) creating spring shadowing programs and summer internships for Harvard students interested in learning from CAPS members, (2) hosting annual sports-related continuing legal education (CLE) courses for practitioners, (3) creating weekly web updates on CAPS members making professional advancements (e.g. deal closings, sports achievements, and career changes), and (4) sponsoring an annual Harvard CAPS Banquet, honoring the most outstanding Harvard professional of the year (inaugural banquet to be held in 2011).
